The Jan De Bont-directed action-thriller Stopping Power has been resurrected, says Variety.

Production on the $40 million John Cusack starrer was halted three weeks ago after a key investor dropped out.

Now the film’s German producer Internationalmedia has announced it is teaming up with strategic investor R Media Acquisitions LLC and that the project is up and running again.

In the movie, a criminal on the run (Jason Isaacs) steals an RV with a young girl inside, then forces the girl’s father (Cusack) to participate in his getaway by acting as a decoy for the police. Melissa George will portray Cusack’s girlfriend. Source.
