30 Days of Night Sentence Find Composers
By: admin • April 10, 2007 • Filed Under: News • 0 Replies
Our comic book counterpart Superhero Hype! spotted a slice of horror-related news that’s ShockTillYouDrop-worthy. According to the latest issue of Film Music Weekly, the vampire invasion of the small Alaskan town of Barrow in 30 Days of Night has found its composer. Brian Reitzell is on board to music supervise, produce and score the film – an adaptation of the popular IDW comic book created by Steve Niles starring Josh Hartnett (Sin City) and Melissa George (Turistas). David Slade (Hard Candy) is directing from a script by Brian Nelson for Sam Raimi’s Ghost House Pictures. Source.

Phew is all I can say. I am completely exhausted. I have tried and rebuild the site to the best of my capability and well, this is the end result. I hope you guys are happy about the new look. As far as the gallery is concerned, everything is not up yet. I have more images to add, caps mostly. But I have added a few (+4000 images actually) which I thought could be enough to begin with. During this week I will add more but right now, I need a bit of a break. As for the videos, I’ve added clips from Melissa’s appearance in Roar. There are right now 26 clips from the show and I have a few more to add from the last episode.
Also, what is completely new to the site is that you can now not only access the site through melissa-george.info but also through melissa-george.com and melissa-george.org! Thank you Gertie for setting that up!
Anyway, enjoy the new Melissa George Online and I would appreciate feedback about the new look, which you leave in the contact form and as well as here, but you need to register first.
Aussie actress is In Treatment
By: admin • April 09, 2007 • Filed Under: In Treatment, News • 0 Replies
It’s a jungle out there in Hollywood sometimes, leaving Aussie star Melissa George in treatment. Her latest TV break, that is.
The former Summer Bay angel jumped ship from the new series by Sex & The City author Candace Bushnell but will pop up In Treatment next month – another new US drama in the works from Entourage producer Mark Wahlberg and Andrew G’s gal pal Noah Tishby.
George was to have played a key role in Lipstick Jungle, but opted out of the show, after the pilot clashed with her new commitment to the “crazy analyst” show, her Sydney management said yesterday.
Filming on the series began this week without George, starring Brooke Shields and Bushnell. Revisions of George’s role saw the character’s age rounded up to 40 and the beauty just too damn perky and youthful-looking to suit the job. Source.
